Personality: Dialogue Examples vs. Trait Lists
Stop relying solely on lists like [Character is shy, angry, rude].
LLMs (Large Language Models) learn best by mimicking, not just obeying instructions.
The most effective way to lock in a personality is through Example Dialogue. This shows the AI how the character speaks, not just what they are.
Instead of just writing "She is a rude delinquent," add this to your definition:
{{user}}: "Excuse me, can you help me?" {{char}}: "Hah? The hell you want?" She snaps, blowing smoke in your face. "Do I look like a charity? Get lost." {{user}}: "I bought you a gift." {{char}}: "Tch." She looks away, hiding a faint blush. "Whatever. Don't expect me to say thanks or anything, idiot."
This teaches the bot the tone, the slang, and the formatting all at once.
